The Giantkin sense of fairness, balanced with an emphasis on self-sufficiency and personal accountability, pushes them toward neutrality when dealing with other races. Giantkin society almost always tends to be matriarchal, where men are soon as mere tools to provide for the tribe. ## History & Culture ### Mountain Born Gathakanathi, more commonly referred to as Giantkin, take after the wandering wind, making them nomads who wander from peak to peak and across the frozen plains of the Gathakanathi Highlands. Their hearts are infused with the cold regard of their frigid realm, leaving each Giantkin with the responsibility to earn a place in the tribe or die trying. A nomadic tundra society, the Giantkin economy is largely based on bartering, where gold and silver hold little value. Many members have tattoos of constellations that can lead them back to their homeland should they ever venture off. ### Stonehoof Gathakanathi horses, called Stonehoof by the Giantkin, are of the finest stock and come at a hefty price in other regions, if they can be found at all. They are easily spotted by their tremendous size, thick manes, and muscular builds. ### Post-Shattering Prior to [[The Shattering]], some Giantkin were strictly sea-faring, while still maintaining their nomadic lifestyles. One notable example of a sea-faring Giantkin was [[Hrothgar Sigehelm]]. Most of these nomadic sea-faring tribes were wiped out during The Shattering, leaving only their northern cousins as the last remnants of an already dwindling population. # Pathfinder 2e Reskinned from Centaur. ### Heritages #### Budding Speaker Giantkin **Reskinned from:** Budding Speaker Centaur **Description:** As written. #### Windrunner Giantkin **Reskinned from:** Fleetwind Centaur **Description:** You’re leaner than most Giantkin, possessing a slightly smaller frame capable of reaching incredible speeds with long strides.
