# Description
## Cityscape
Morgrin was the largest city in the Hold of the Sea Princes, with a population around 15,000. It is the main naval center for the Hold, and is the home port for many of the trading ships that ply the Azure Sea, trading goods as far away as [[Kald/Locations/Shards/Vastuum]].
Unlike other cities in this day and age, Morgrin is not walled, although many buildings, estates and fortifications are themselves walled.
# Post-Shattering
Morgrin's maritime economy collapsed following [[The Shattering]] and the city fell into ruin.

## **Resources**
The Slave Market was the one of the biggest in all of Ikoya (second only to Port Tali), and the prostitutes were commonly regarded as being among the most talented to be found anywhere. In all, a favorite port for many sailors and merchants alike.
The slaves from the southern jungles are remarkably pliable and are commonly regarded by those into such reprehensible practices as the best slave stock to be had; far better than the usual "foundlings" who often attempt to escape or break free.
## **Trade**
Much trade still passes through Morgrin. The value of the goods being traded is too high to be stopped by something as petty as a police state. The moral caliber of those who traded with the Sea Princes has never been what you might call upright, and if anything has slid a little in most recent years.
Many merchants make a comfortable living acting as food ferrys from Morgrin to Gradsul to Seaton and back again.
