Located several miles outside the [[The Arcanum]], this monumental portal is nestled into the mountainside. # Location and Access The Grand Passage is situated in a remote mountainous region near the Arcanum. Its proximity to the realm's foremost center of magical and scientific study has made it a subject of intense research and scrutiny. # Security Due to its strategic importance, the Grand Passage is heavily guarded and access is strictly regulated by a joint council of Arcanum scholars and representatives from connected [[Shard (Realm)|Shards]]. # Egress The Grand Passage connects to the floating mainland surrounding [[Eilanthar]] and allows for two-way travel between both sides. It is one of only three known two-way Aetherways in the world, all of which connect to the nexus city. The other two gates, [[Frostgate]] and [[Unity Crossing]], provide two-way access to [[Gath]] and [[Kell]], respectively.
